Colorectal surgery focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the lower gastrointestinal tract including the colon, rectum and anus. These include both benign and malignant conditions such as colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) ie crohn’s Disease,ulcerative colitis, diverticular disease, haemorrhoids, anal fissures, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery, are widely used to enhance precision, reduce postoperative discomfort, and promotes a faster recovery.

• Colonoscopy: A comprehensive examination both for diagnosis and therapeutic intervention of the colon from the anus up to the terminal ileum using a flexible colonoscope
